Burberry‘s third-quarter revenues increased 26.3 percent compared to the same period last year, the company reported today. According to the Daily Mail, the upswing was “partly due” to the demand for men’s satchels in Asia, which “made a popular gift choice in the run up to Christmas.” Burberry CFO Stacey Cartwright confirmed, “In China and the rest of Asia — where Burberry has a big fan base — men’s accessories are a huge market.” [Daily Mail UK]
